With whom does TraumaLine1 share information?
When you submit information to TraumaLine1, it is collected, processed and maintained solely by us. Sometimes we may allow partner companies to notify you of their services directly through us. You can choose to respond to such correspondence or not but your personal information will not be shared with others. Any information provided by TraumaLine1 about other services or products will be limited to correspondence that we provide directly to you without releasing any of your personal contact information to other companies. When TraumaLine1 is the source, it is usually so that we can provide a service with a partner. We choose to work with companies that we believe to be upstanding and that we believe have information, services or products that would be of interest to you. If you choose to sign-up, purchase or correspond directly with any of these partners please be aware that since we don’t own these partner companies, we can’t speak for them on privacy issues. Before telling them about yourself, check out their privacy statements and terms of agreement. If you are not satisfied with their information practices, you can choose not to use their service.
Below is a summary of some of the situations in which TraumaLine1 might provide you with information from other partner companies:
Some of our services, such as TraumaLine1 email, are offered in conjunction with partner companies. In order to provide these services, TraumaLine1 may send you e-mail or other correspondence about education materials, courses, training opportunities, and other products that may be of interest to you personally or professionally. We will not share your user data with partners but rather offer you information directly through our internal processes. In addition, we may also provide information about training and services offered through www.TIClearn.com; www.psychink.com; and www.traumatologyinstitute.net along with other Traumatology Institute related services and products.
Specifically, we may also share certain information about you with those of our vendors who are responsible for handling your account or performing other necessary services that you require (i.e., PayPal). Although we may share sensitive financial information (i.e., credit card numbers), security information (i.e., account passwords) and personal communications (i.e., personal e-mail messages or message board postings) with such vendors where necessary and appropriate, we will not share such information with other third parties, except in response to formal requests (e.g., subpoena or court order) made in connection with litigation or arbitration proceedings directly relating to a domain name registration or other services we provide.
